FELICITY HUFFMAN, TIMOTHY HUTTONIt’s not too late to get on board with two of the spring’s best new dramas, both showing their second episodes. On John Ridley’s arresting “American Crime” (ABC, 10 p.m.), the parents of the victim (Felicity Huffman and Timothy Hutton no less) meet face to face with the suspects in an emotionally charged episode. And on  “Dig” (USA, 10 p.m.),  Jason Isaacs investigates a murder in a Jerusalem archeological site, in a thriller out of the traditions of “The Da Vinci Code” (Encore, 3:10 p.m.), which also happens to be on today.

In the wake of another recent murder of a high-profile critic of Vladimir Putin, “Dateline” (NBC, 8 p.m.) looks at the 2006 death of Alexander Litvinenko, a former KGB officer who was poisoned.

Like a detective investigating a spate of murders (insect murders), the host of “Morgan Spurlock: Inside Man” (CNN, 9 p.m.) becomes a beekeeper.

Similarly, Josh Gates follows the flight plan of Amelia Earhart on “Expedition Unknown” (Travel, 9 p.m.), but hopefully not every part of it.

Liz is questioned in court as a murder suspect on “The Blacklist” (NBC, 9 p.m.).

Yvette Nicole Brown’s character Dani gets the spotlight on tonight’s episode of “The Odd Couple” (NBC, 8:30 p.m.). She moved to the network sitcom from “Community” to have more time with her family.

Trying to pull some attention away from “Scandal” (ABC, 9 p.m.), there’s a Seattle earthquake on “Grey’s Anatomy” (ABC, 8 p.m.).

Peter Sarsgaard’s affair deepens on “The Slap” (NBC, 10 p.m.). Maybe he’s the one who should have gotten the slap.

And away we go: Jackie Gleason gets the focus on Turner Classic Movies with “Requiem for a Heavyweight” (8 p.m.), “The Hustler” (9:45 p.m.), “Don’t Drink the Water” (12:15 a.m.), “Soldier in the Rain” (2 a.m.) and “Escape from Crime” (3:45 a.m.).
