project-runway-juniorsFollowing the success of smaller-sized cooking competitions from “MasterChef Junior” to “Chopped Junior,” here’s one for fashion, with Tim Gunn presiding over a group of hopeful teenage designers on “Project Runway Junior” (Lifetime, 9 p.m.). The 12 designers, age 13 to 17 are competing for a chance to design for Land’s End so maybe they’ll put plaid in everything on the show, hosted by Hannah Davis, the model who looks like Heidi Klum’s little sister. Judges include Kelly Osbourne, Christian Soriano and  fashion editor Aya Kanai.

Gunn, for his part, says he hated the recently completed Season 14 of “Project Runway” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.). Let’s see if he brings that up in the reunion show.

Somehow “2 Broke Girls” (CBS, 9:30 p.m.) makes it to its fifth season with its premiere tonight, completing a decidedly mixed two hours of comedy from the network that also includes “Big Bang Theory” (CBS, 8 p.m.), “Life in Pieces” (CBS, 8:30 p.m.) and “Mom” (9 p.m.), on which Emily Osment guest stars.

In some weird promotion, “2 broke Girls” reruns also play on TBS all night, except at 9, when they play a pair of “Big Bang Theory” reruns.

On a new “Nathan For You” (Comedy Central, 10, p.m.), he finds a loophole that would allow a Pasadena bar to allow smoking.

When there is no winter, that’s a problem too on “Great Wild North” (History, 10 p.m.).

There should be a crossover episode between “Billy on the Street” (truTV, 10:30 p.m.) and “Mysteries at the Museum” (Travel, 9 p.m.).

Oh just put up the tree: “Charming Christmas” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.) and “Royal Christmas” (Hallmark, 10 p.m.).

Turner Classic Movies marks the 25th anniversary of Milestone Films and shows some of the best film from the independent distribution company with “I Am Cuba” Edward S.
