There are a couple of sweet additions on other streaming services as well.

“Modern Love”  (Amazon, streaming) is an anthology series based on the popular confessional column from The New York Times, with each episode presenting a shiny version of the city with an impressive cast members, including Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey, Dev Patel, John Slattery, Cristin Milioti and Catherine Keener.

“Finding Alaska” (Hulu, streaming) plays like a literate, perfectly burnished version of “The O.C.,” with that series’ Josh Schwartz at the helm, about teens at a Southern boarding school navigating life, based on the John Green novel of the same name. It’s a terrific cast with some choice music. And they’ll stick true to the story, turning it into an eight episode limited series and ending without possibility of a second season.

Already available on streaming is Stephen Soderbergh’s ambitious comedy about the Panama Papers scandal, “The Laundromat” (Netflix, streaming) with a cast that includes Meryl Streep, Antonio Banderas, Gary Oldman, Sharon Stone and Jeffrey Wright.

In the horror film “Eli” (Netflix, streaming), an 11 year-old boy has an illness that requires him to live apart from the world. His parents check him into a clinic to undergo experimental therapy from a doctor played by Lili Taylor.

The documentary “Tell Me Who I Am” (Netflix, streaming) tells the tale of an 18-year-old who wakes up from a motorcycle accident with no memory. He has to rely on his twin brother to fill him in, but he may be deceiving him.

This year’s recipients of the Grammy Music Legend title are honored on “Great Performances” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings). Honorees are George Clinton, Johnny Mathis, Dionne Warwick, Garth Brooks, Snoop Dogg, Antti Austin, Shiela E., Sam Moore and Julio Iglesias.

Susan Rice, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Danielle Pieta, Sam Stein and Thomas Chatterton Williams are guests on a new “Real Time with Bill Maher” (HBO, 10 p.m.).

Gene splicing is the topic of the documentary “Unnatural Selection” (Netflix, streaming).

In the Spanish film “Diecisiete” (Netflix, streaming), a 17 year old escape from juvenile detention and goes on a journey with his brother and grandmother.

The “Long Island Medium” (TLC, 9 p.m.) is back with her 14th season, with Theresa doing wedding planning for her daughter. Also, Louie Anderson, Wayne Brady and Tatum O’Neal get readings.

Greg hosts the local historical society on “American Housewife” (ABC, 8 p.m.).

On “Charmed” (CW, 8 p.m.), Macy tries to make sense of her dreams.

A hacker is enlisted by “Hawaii Five-0” (CBS, 8 p.m.) to help solve a kidnapping.

On “The Blacklist” (NBC, 8 p..m.), Adam investigates a secret group of rich people who love violence.

Eddie finally introduces his girlfriend to his mom on “Fresh Off the Boat” (ABC, 8:30 p.m.).

Second seasons start for both the Mexican import “La Casa de las Flores” (Netflix, streaming) an the Italian high school series “Baby” (Netflix, streaming).

On “Dynasty” (CW, 9 p.m.), Blake and Fallon are in legal trouble.

Stonehenge builders get DNA tests on “Ancient Aliens” (History, 9 p.m.).

On “Magnum P.I.” (CBS, 9 p.m.), Katsumoto suspects a fellow cop is dirty
