Friday TV: Rosamund Gets ‘Radioactive’

Rosamund Pike plays chemist Marie Curie in the new film “Radioactive” (Amazon, streaming). Based on a graphic novel about the two time Nobel Prize winner, it’s also directed by a different graphic novelist, Marjane Satrapi (“Persepolis”). 

A popular young romantic comedy gets a sequel with “The Kissing Booth 2” (Netflix, streaming) with Joey King, Jacob Elordi and Joel Courtney. 

In the two part standup special “Jim Gaffigan: The Pale Tourist” (Amazon, streaming), the comic visits Spain and Canada, soaks in the cultures and food, and writes a custom show accordingly.

Another travel series “Rogue Trip” (Disney+, streaming) has former news anchor Bob Woodruff traveling the globe with his 28 year old son. 

Zachary Levi, Laura Benati and Jane Krakowski star in the 2016 Roundabout Theatre Company revival of “She Loves Me,” which gets a showcase on “Great Performances” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings). 

Marta Etura stars in the imported Spanish film “Offering to the Storm” (Netflix, streaming) about a detective trying to solve a crime in a snowstorm, based on the last chapter in Dolores Redondo’s Baztán book trilogy.
