Wednesday TV: ‘The Weight of Gold’

Because prison reform hasn’t really happened, “Inside the World’s Toughest Prisons” (Netflix, streaming) begins a fourth season. 

“What the Shark?” (National Geographic, 10 p.m.) looks at rarely seen sharks in darker depths. 

The British import “Bulletproof” (CW, 9 p.m.) ends its second season with an effort to bring down Alex and Mikey. 

Resting time comes for the initial season of “Ultimate Tag” (Fox, 9 p.m.) as well and somebody wins $10,000.

“United We Fall” (ABC, 9 p.m.) Bill and Jo enroll Emily in a soccer clinic. 

They pack sand on a new episode of “Tough as Nails” (CBS, 8 p.m.).

A new logo is needed on “Corporate” (Comedy Central, 10:30 p.m.).

“Marrying Millions” (Lifetime, 10 p.m.) checks in with Bill and Brianna and Gentille and Brian.

Lisa tries to save the Roman holiday on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” (Bravo, 9 p.m.) after rumors fly about Denise.

The title of tonight’s new episode of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” (ABC, 10 p.m.) is “Stolen.”

“The First 48: Squad Stories: Miami” (A&E, 10 p.m.) looks into the case of a murdered retired police captain.

They find what’s doing with primates on an island off of West Africa on the special “Monkeys of Bioko” (Smithsonian, 8 p.m.).

Turner Classic Movies’ month-long array of feel good movies on Wednesday night concludes with “The Thin Man” (8 pm.), “Guys and Dolls” (9:45 p.m.), “The Lady Eve” (12:30 a.m.), “Arsenic and Old Lace” (2:15 a.m.) and “Some Like It Hot” (4:15 a.m.). 

During the day, various Hollywood bombshells star in “Go Naked in the World” (6 a.m.), “Lola” (8 a.m.), “Forbidden Planet” (11:15 a.m.), “And God Created Woman” (1 p.m.), “One Million Years B.C.” (2:45 p.m.), “4 for Texas” (4:30 p.m.) and “Viva Las Vegas” (6:30 p.m.).
