Friday TV: The Go-Go’s Lips Are Unsealed

Martha Stewart starts a number of socially-distanced home projects on her new series “Martha Knows Best” (HGTV, 10 p.m.).

“Upside-Down Magic” (Disney, 8 p.m.), based on the Scholastic book series, is a new movie about eight kids in a school for magic. 

Krista Allen plays a teacher excited about meeting a new guy in a new made-for-TV thriller. But her daughter doesn’t trust him, especially since the title of the movie is “The Wrong Stepfather” (Lifetime Movie Network, 8 p.m.). 

Kerry Washington, Jim Carrey, Thomas Chatterton Williams and Bari Weiss are interview subjects on a new “Real Time with Bill Maher” (HBO, 10 p.m.). 

Shawn dives under the ice on “Bering Sea Golf” (Discovery, 8 p.m.).

More quarantined efforts are featured on “The Greatest #AtHome Videos” (CBS, 8 p.m.).

“Deadliest Catch: Bloodline” (Discovery, 9 p.m.) looks for Captain Phil Harris’ charts through shark-invested waters in Hawaii.

There’s a search for bigfoot on “The Alaska Triangle” (Travel, 9 p.m.). 

The imported Indian film “Raat Akeli Hai” (Netflix, streaming) concerns a high profile murder in a small town in India and a cop’s subsequent investigation. 

The month-long Friday salute to director John Ford on Turner Classic Movies ends with “Rookie of the Year” (noon), “How the West was Won” (1 p.m.), the documentary “John Ford, the Man Who Invented America” (4 p.m.), “Cheyenne Autumn” (5 p.m.), “The Horse Soldiers” (8 p.m.), “Sergeant Rutledge” (10:15 p.m.) and “Two Rode Together” (12:15 a.m.). Later comes two films from the 80s, “Vibes” (2:15 a.m.) and “Making Mr. Right” (4 a.m.). This morning’s films involve ski trips: “Two-Faced Woman” (6 a.m.), “Ski Party” (8:15 a.m.), “Just the Way You Are” (10 a.m.), “Ski-Flying” (11:45 a.m.). 

Baseball today includes St. Louis at Milwaukee (MLB, 2 p.m.), Boston at Yankees (MLB, 7 p.m.), and Dodgers at Arizona (MLB, 10 p.m.). 

NBA action has Memphis vs. Portland (NBA, 4 p.m.), Phoenix vs. Washington (NBC Sports, 4 p.m.), Boston at Milwaukee (ESPN, 6:30 p.m.) and Houston at Dallas (ESPN, 9 p.m.).

In the WNBA, it’s New York vs. Atlanta (NBA, 7 p.m.), Indiana vs. Dallas (CBS Sports, 8 p.m.) and Las Vegas vs. Phoenix (CBS Sports, 10 p.m.). 

Soccer includes Orlando City vs. Los Angeles FC (fox Sports 1, 7:30 p.m.).
