The lingering lockdown requires a whole new level of creativity when it comes to making TV shows. “Love in the Time of Corona” (Freeform, 8 p.m.) was obviously written during the time, about the time, and shot using social distancing methods.

The rom-com has nothing to do with a similarly titled novel by Gabriel Garcia Marquez; instead, Its stories will include a couple who have been together too much; another couple who try online dating instead, a woman reconnecting with an estranged son; a student retiring home from her freshman year of college. The cast includes Leslie Odom Jr., Nicolette Robinson, Tommy Doorman and Gil Bellows. Two episodes run tonight; the concluding pair tomorrow.

The Lena Waithe-written drama “Queen & Slim” (HBO, 8 p.m.) with Daniel Kaluuya and Jodie Turner-Smith, makes its premium cable debut. Also premiering tonight, “Run This Town” (Showtime, 9 p.m.), a newspaper saga about covering Toronto’s controversial mayor Rob Ford. It stars Mena Massoud, Nina Dobrev and Ben Platt but casts Damian Lewis as Ford. 

Round two of the Stanley Cup Playoffs begin with Dallas at Colorado (NBC, 8 p.m.) in a prime time slot.

“Earthlight” (BBC America, 8 p.m.) gives its birds’ eye view to South America.
