There are the usual familiar elements to the made-for-TV romance “Follow Me to Daisy Hills” (Hallmark, 9 p.m.) in which a woman helping her family’s general store crosses paths with an ex-boyfriend. Cody Busby and Marshall Williams star. 

In the made-for-TV thriller “The Secret Life of a Celebrity Surrogate” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.), a woman drawn to glamor is sucked up into its twisted side. Brianne Davis, Carrie Wampler and Carl Beukes star. 

Fifty years after his death this week, there’s still room for exploitation, with “Jimi Hendrix: A Perfect Murder?” (Reels, 8 p.m.), which I can guarantee you is probably so cheaply made it can’t license a single note of his music. 

There’s lots to catch up on — or ignore completely — on the week’s recap “Love Island: More to Love” (CBS, 9 p.m.).

Rescue dogs are reunited on “Pit Bulls and Parolees” (Animal Planet, 9 p.m.).

Mold is a problem as a baby is on its way on “Help! I Wrecked My House” (HGTV, 8 p.m.).

There might be some inspiration to be found on “Black America Since MLK: And Still I Rise” (PBS, 8 p.m., check local listings). Or perhaps the history of women winning the vote on “American Experience” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings). 

On “Justice with Judge Janine” (Fox News, 9 p.m.), don’t be surprised if the host starts making her opportunistic case for high court appointment. 

Pretty sure a couple episodes of “Haunted Gingerbread Showdown” (Food, 9 and 10 p.m.) is trying to use too early Halloween as a bridge to way too early Christmas. 

Turner Classic Movies has a couple of Damon Runyon stories, “Guys and Dolls” (8 p.m.) and “Midnight Alibi” (10:45 p.m.). The 12 o’clock noir is “Gilda” (midnight), followed by a couple of films with James Caan, “Rollerball” (2:15 a.m.) and “Countdown” (4:30 a.m.).

NBA Playoffs have Boston vs. Miami (ESPN, 8:30 p.m.) in the Eastern Conference finals. 

College football includes, at noon, Navy at Tulane (ABC), Houston at Baylor (Fox), Tulsa at Oklahoma State (ESPN), Louisiana Lafayette at Georgia State (ESPN2) and Liberty at Western Kentucky (ESPNU).

After South Florida at Notre Dame (USA, 2:30 p.m.) the games at 3:30 include Central Florida at Georgia Tech (ABC), Appalachian State at Marshall (CBS) and Florida Atlantic at Georgia Southern (ESPN). 

Then comes Troy at Middle Tennessee State (ESPN2, 4 p.m.), Southern Methodist at North Texas (CBS Sports, 6 p.m.) and Louisiana Tech at Southern Mississippi (ESPN2, 7:30 p.m.).

In golf, there’s third round play in the U.S. Open (NBC, 11 a.m.).

NASCAR runs its Bass Pro Shops Night Race (NBC Sports, 7:30 p.m.). 

The Tour de France (NBC Sports, 7:30 p.m.) reaches the penultimate Stage 20, a time trial from Lure to La Planche des Belles Filles.

Buddy Guy and August Greene play an “Austin City Limits” (PBS, 11 p.m., check local listings). 

The “Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) from November with Will Ferrell and King Princess is rerun tonight. The new season starts in two weeks.
