Thursday TV: A New Swing at ‘The Witches’

A new standup special “Chelsea Handler: Evolution” (HBO Max, streaming) addresses personal growth. 

Sam and Dean investigate the murder of a childhood friend on “Supernatural” (CW, 8 p.m.). 

On “Connecting” (NBC, 8 p.m.), Memorial Day plans are fraught. 

Christmas almost certainly will be eliminated on “Big Brother” (CBS, 8 p.m.), leaving just three for net week’s finale. 

“The Bradshaw Bunch” (E!, 9 p.m.) goes to a NASCAR race, where they want to participate. 

The search is on for an ancient relic on “The Outpost” (CW, 9 p.m.).

Of course the 40th birthday party continues on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” (E!, 8 p.m.).

Turner Classic Movies’ 30th anniversary of the Film Foundation has more of the films they’ve restored with “The Killers” (8 p.m.), “The Breaking Point” (9:45 p.m.), “The Mystery of the Wax Museum” (11:30 p.m.), “Night of the Living Dead” (1 a.m.) and “A River Called Titash” (3 p.m.).

Earlier in the day are the films of Constance Bennett, born this day in 1904, with “Three Faces East” (6 a.m.), “Born to Love” (7:30 a.m.), “The Common Law” (9 a.m.), “Rockabye” (10:30 a.m.), “Bed of Roses” (11:45 a.m.), “Our Betters” (1 p.m.), “Topper” (2:30 p.m.), “Topper Takes a Trip” (4:15 p.m.) and “Merrily We Live” (5:45 p.m.).
