Star of the month on Turner Classic Movies is Miriam Hopkins, who gets a Thursday night showcase all month, starting with “The Smiling Lieutenant” (8 p.m.), “Trouble in Paradise” (10 p.m.), “Design for Living” (11:30 p.m.), “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” (1:15 a.m.) and “Men are Not Gods” (3 a.m.).
