CNN will spend the rest of the summer’s Saturdays showing documentary shorts, hosted by Anderson Cooper. It starts tonight with “58 Hours: The Baby Jessica Story” (CNN, 9 p.m.), about the time an 18-month-old baby fell into a well in Midland, Texas and her rescue became a big TV event in 1987. Director Mark Bone finds out what happened to Baby Jessica and her rescuers years later.

It’s paired with a documentary about internet influencers who are up for reviewing any type of product, titled “Super Reviewers: Rate, Review, Repeat” (CNN, 9:30 p.m.).

Room for another island of love? The new competition “Heartbreak Island” (Discovery+, streaming) offers money as well as love for those who connect.

The summer games are on around the clock on a handful of NBC-owned networks (and on Peacock). But during primetime, the 2021 Tokyo Olympics (NBC, 8 p.m.) has beach volleyball, track & field, and more swimming.

Glomming onto those games is a canine special, “Puppy Bowl Presents: The Summer Dog Games” (Discovery+, streaming).

The wildlife in Africa’s Namib Desert and the Skeleton Coast along the Atlantic are the focus of tonight’s episode of “Eden: Untamed Planet” (BBC America, AMC, 8 p.m.).
