About

Roger Catlin is a writer in Washington, D.C.

Until July 2011, his writings on TV and visual arts appear in the Hartford Courant, where he also wrote a blog called  TV Eye. He is on the board of the Television Critics Association and is a member of the Religious Society of Friends (making him one of the few Quaker TV critics).  Before his move, he was DJ on the Friday Morning Rock show on the Trinity College radio station WRTC at 89.3 FM in Hartford. Old shows are available online.

Roger was born in Detroit, Mich., and went to high school in Omaha, graduating from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He’s been in newspapers a very long time.

He’s on Facebook and has a twitter account under @rcatlin.  Y’all come back soon.
