chernobyl-animals-birdToday is the 30th anniversary of the catastrophic accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, a milestone that ought to create a number of news reports and updates. The most unusual one, and yet one best tailored for its specific audience may be “Life After: Chernobyl” (Animal Planet, 10 p.m.) examines how local wildlife has been affected by the worst nuclear accident in history, as well as the effect on the environment. It’s hosted by biologist Rob Nelson and anthropologist Mary-Ann Ochoa.

We’re not calling it Super Tuesday 4, as some are, but the Presidential Primary Results (CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, Span, 8 p.m.) will have results from voting today in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland and Rhode Island.

Another Super Tuesday was Tuesday Weld, who is featured in six films on Turner Classic Movies, from “Rock, Rock, Rock” (8 p.m.) (with performances by Chuck Berry, Frankie Lymon and the Johnny Burnette Trio), “Because They’re Young” (9:45 p.m.), “Lord Love a Duck” (11:30 p.m.), “I’ll Take Sweden” (1:30 a.m.), “Sex Kittens Go to College” (3:15 a.m.) and “The Cincinnati Kid” (5 a.m.).

Schmidt goes to his bachelor party on “New Girl” (Fox, 8 p.m.). And in a second episode at 9, at the girls’ bachelorette party, Jess and Cece destroy the wedding gift sent by Schmidt’s mother. A third episode has been added to the schedule, the “New Girl” episode that featured Prince, at 9:30 p.m.

One of the returning champs gets the $50,000 prize on “Chopped” (Food, 10 p.m.). 2

“Limitless” (CBS, 10 p.m.) ends its first season and Brian is having a drug problem.

The American “Top Gear” (History, 9 p.m.) returns for its sixth season in the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Travis Wall hosts the new “Dance Video Throwdown” (Lifetime, 10 p.m.) in which eight dancers have to choreograph and create a music video for Omi’s single “Cheerleader.”

Sarah Michelle Gellar is guest judge as the new season begins for “Chopped Junior” (Food, 8 p.m.).

Louis and Jessica recall how they met on a new “Fresh Off the Boat” (ABC, 8 p.m.). Shaquille O’Neal and Busta Rhymes guest star.

Oddly, that’s also the story line on “Little People, Big World” (TLC, 10 p.m.).

Kenny gets the lead in the school play on “The Real O’Neals” (ABC, 8:30 p.m.) opposite his ex-girlfriend.

A teenage patient refuses care on a new “Chicago Med” (NBC, 9 p.m.).

Eliminations come for the Top 11 on “The Voice” (NBC, 8 p.m.).

Jimmy celebrates his 50th birthday again on “Grandfathered” (Fox, 8:30 p.m.).

Infections continue on the second episode of “Containment” (The CW, 9 p.m.).

NBA playoffs have Indiana at Toronto (TNT, 6 p.m.) and Boston at Atlanta (TNT, 8:30 p.m.).
