On “Somewhere Between” (ABC, 10 p.m.), Paula Patton plays a TV news person whose child is kidnapped. But since the action replays over and over again, she has a way to crack it. It’s an adaptation of a South Korean series.

The new “Midnight, Texas” (NBC, 10 p.m.) is a vampire saga from the author of “True Blood,” Charlaine Harris, about a town full of colorful characters and weirdos.

To beat the crush of programming coming this fall with the 20th anniversary of the death of Princess Diana, her sons speak, as does Prince Charles, in the one film they say they will do about it, “Diana, Our Mother: her Life and Legacy” (HBO, 10 p.m.), directed by Ashley Gething.

Wyatt Cenac returns for the second season of the amusing UFO comedy “People of Earth” (TBS, 10:30 p.m.), which this time around adds the “SNL” grad Nasim Pedrad.

On “POV” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings), a nonagenarian Holocaust survivor strikes up a friendship with a 12 year old in the Bronx when he donates to an instrument drive.

The three final guys now have to meet Rachel’s family in Dallas on “The Bachelorette” (ABC, 8 p.m.). Then the ever-sleazy overnight dates — in Spain.

Joe and Clary hunt to recover the Mortal Mirror on “Shadowhunters” (Freeform, 8 p.m.).

Academy callbacks continue on “So You Think You Can Dance” (Fox, 8 p.m.).

A deal is struck with a murderous cowpoke on “Preacher” (AMC, 9 p.m.).

“Love and Hip Hop Hollywood” (VH1, 8 p.m.) returns for its fourth season.

Everyone in the lab is missing on “Stitchers” (Freeform, 9 p.m.).

“American Ninja Warriors” (NBC, 8 p.m.) competes in Los Angeles.
