Fact checkers will be working overtime; Democrats will do their best to be civil. Even Fox News stopped showing verbatim Trump speeches months ago, but here you go – on eight or so networks.

Maybe a good way to watch is through “Trump: El estate de la nación” (Telemundo, 8:54 p.m.) or “El estate de la unión: Donald Trump” (Univision, 8:50 p.m.).

The usual analysis will follow on cable news networks, and “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” (CBS, 11:35 p.m.) will be live to offer its own commentary.
