Saturday TV: Christmas Comes Too Soon

“Eli Roth’s History of Horror” (AMC, 10 p.m.) looks at movies that stress body types. “Cursed Films” (AMC, 11 p.m.) recalls the accident on the set of “Twilight Zone: The Movie.” 

Scheduling sex is discussed on “Black Love” (OWN, 9 p.m.). 

“Manhunt: Deadly Games” (8 and 9 p.m.) advances the story of the Atlanta bomber with two consecutive episodes. 

Amid the increased college football today there is also a celebration of college reunions on “HBCU Homecoming: Meet Me On the Yard” (BET, 8 p.m.).

“Dr. Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet” (Animal Planet, 9 p.m.) deals with some pigs. 

There’s a new otter brood on “Secret Life of the Zoo” (Animal Planet, 11 p.m.). 

There’s a Jan Sterling double feature on Turner Classic Movies with “Ace in the Hole” (8 p.m.) and “Flesh and Fury” (10:15 p.m.). Then comes the 12 o’clock noir, “Macao” (midnight) followed by “The Werewolf” (1:45 a.m.) and “The Howling” (3:15 a.m.). 

The Big Ten begins its season with Nebraska at Ohio State (Fox, noon). Other games at noon include Oklahoma at TCU (ABC), North Carolina State at North Carolina (ESPNU), Kansas at Kansas State (Fox Sports 1), Georgia Southern at Coastal Carolina (ESPNU) and Mercer at Army (CBS Sports). 

After Tulane at Central Florida (ESPN, 2 p.m) comes games at 3:30 p.m. that include Notre Dame at Pittsburgh (ABC), Alabama at Tennessee (CBS), Iowa State at Oklahoma State (Fox), Baylor at Texas (ESPN), Penn State at Indiana (Fox Sports 1) and Houston at Navy (CBS Sports).

Then comes Georgia State at Troy (ESPNU, 4 p.m.), West Virginia at Texas Tech (ESPN2, 5:30 p.m.), South Carolina at LSU (ESPN, 7 p.m.), Utah State at Boise State (Fox Sports 1, 7 p.m.), Wyoming at Nevada (CBS Sports, 7 p.m.), Michigan at Minnesota (ABC, 7:30 p.m.), Louisiana Tech at Texas San Antonio (ESPNU, 8 p.m.), Cincinnati at SMU (ESPN2, 9 p.m.), Texas State at BYU (ESPN, 10:15 p.m.), Air Force at San Jose State (Fox Sports 1, 10:30 p.m.) and UNLV at San Diego State (CBS Sports, 10:30 p.m.).

NASCAR runs its O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 (NBC Sports, 4:30 p.m.).

Figure skating continues its ISU Grand Prix: Skate America (NBC, 3 p.m.; NBC Sports, 9 p.m.).

Rufus Wainwright plays a new “Austin City Limits” (PBS, 11 p.m., check local listings). 

Twelve years after her first appearance on the show, Adele returns to host a new “Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) for the first time. Musical guest is H.E.R.
