Saturday TV: ‘Between the World and Me’

An orangutan gets sick and must be quarantined on “Secret Life of the Zoo” (Animal Planet, 11 p.m.).

“The Great Foot Truck Race” (Food, 9 and 10 p.m.) travels through New England. 

A 40-year-old man seeks to find his biological family on “Iyanla: Fix My Life” (OWN, 9 p.m.).

“Drugs, Inc: The Fix” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.) explores the world of hash. 

Details of the Titanic sinking is sought on “History’s Greatest Mysteries” (History, 9 p.m.). 

New Jersey gets a visit from “Ghost Nation” (Travel, 9 p.m.), while “Destination Fear” goes to upstate New York. 

“Behind Every Man” (OWN, 10 p.m.) profiles Crystal Smith, wife of Ne-Yo.

Covid hits the “Mega Zoo” (Animal Planet, 10 p.m.). 

“Dr. Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet” (Animal Planet, 9 p.m.) tends to a puppy trampoline fall. 

Turner Classic Movies has a couple of classic space flicks with Stanley Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Odyssey” (8 p.m.) and George Lucas’ “THX 1138” (10:45 p.m.). The midnight noir is “Kiss Me Deadly” (12:15 a.m.) followed by “The Thomas Crown Affair” (2:15 a.m.) and “Affair with a Stranger” (4:15 a.m.). 

College football begins at noon with games that include Clemson at Florida State (ABC), Indiana at Ohio State (Fox), Florida at Vanderbilt (ESPN), Appalachian State at Coastal Carolina (ESPN2), Illinois at Nebraska (Fox Sports 1), Arkansas State at Texas State (ESPNU) and Georgia Southern at Army (CBS Sports). 

Games at 3:30 p.m. include Wisconsin at Northwestern (ABC), San Diego State Nevada (CBS), Cincinnati at Central Florida (ESPN), UCLA at Oregon (ESPN2), California at Oregon State (Fox Sports 1) and Georgia State at South Alabama (ESPNU).

Then comes Kansas State at Iowa State (Fox, 4 p.m.), Tennessee at Auburn (ESPN, 7 p.m.), Oklahoma State at Oklahoma (ABC, 7:30 p.m.), Arizona at Washington (Fox, 8 p.m.), Southern California at Utah (ESPN, 10:30 p.m.), Washington State at Stanford (Fox Sports 1, 10:30 p.m.) and Boise State at Hawaii (CBS Sports, 11 p.m.). 

The Mavericks play a new episode of “Austin City Limits” (PBS, 11 p.m., check local listings). 

“Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) is a rerun from last month, maybe the episode with Bill Burr and Jack White. The rerun at 10 is set for sure: a 2013 show with Kerry Washington and Eminem.
