Friday TV: McDormand Out in ‘Nomadland’

More comfortable high heels are pitched on “Shark Tank” (ABC, 8 p.m.). 

On “The Blacklist” (NBC, 8 p.m.), Cooper looks to a congressman for information.

In the made-for-TV thriller “His Killer Fan” (Lifetime Movie Network, 8 p.m.), Brooke Butler plays a rising star who gets a chance to sing with a star played by Ryan Cooper, but wants more. 

“Ancient Aliens” (History, 10 p.m.) moves to a new time slot. 

Higgins is still abducted on “Magnum P.I.” (CBS, 9 p.m.).

“The UnExplained” (History, 9 p.m.) looks at the power of gold. 

Turner Classic Movies presents three films under the title Girls with Guns: “Gun Crazy” (8 p.m.), “Thelma & Louise” (9:45 p.m.) and “Coffy” (12:15 a.m.). Then comes two 70s horror films about biting fish, “Piranha” (2 a.m.) and “Tintorera” (3:45 a.m.).

During the day is some Western noir with “Station West” (7:15 a.m.), “Blood on the Moon” (8:45 a.m.), “Roughshod” (10:15 a.m.), “Colorado Territory” (noon), “Along the Great Divide” (1:45 p.m.), “Riding Shotgun” (3:30 p.m.), “Briar Patch” (5 p.m.) and “The Badlanders” (6:30 p.m.). 

NBA action has Chicago at Philadelphia (ESPN, 7 p.m.) and Dallas at Houston (ESPN, 9:30 p.m.), weather willing.

Hockey has Chicago at Carolina (NHL, 7 p.m.) and Winnipeg at Vancouver (NHL, 10 p.m.).

Men’s college hoops include Saint Louis at Dayton (EPN2, 7 p.m.), Monmouth at Iona (ESPNU, 7 p.m.), Akron at Ball State (CBS Sports, 7 p.m.), Wyoming vs. New Mexico (CBS Sports, 9 p.m.), Toledo at Buffalo (ESPN2, 9 p.m.), Utah State at Boise State (Fox Sports 1, 10 p.m.) and CSU Bakersfield at UC Santa Barbara (ESPNU, 11 p.m.). 

The Australian Open (ESPN, 3:30 a.m.) has the women’s final, very late tonight. 

NASCAR runs the BrakeBest Brake Pads 150 (Fox Sports 1, 7:30 p.m.). 

Women’s college gymnastics includes UCLA at Utah (ESPNU, 9 p.m.).
