It must be all that “Hairspray” dancing from her past.

But Ricki Lake became the first dancer of the season to score 10s – two of them – from judges Monday on “Dancing with the Stars.” Her tango with Derek Hough to the theme from Alfred Hitchcock’s “Psycho” shot her to the top of the leaderboard by some measure.

The score of 29 – one point shy of perfect — made her the top vote-getter for the third week running. She’s had the top score three of the show’s four weeks. And her 20 Monday was three points higher than her closest competitor, actor J.R. Martinez, who scored a 26 – the same score he got last week.

Tied for third place were Rob Kardashian and Hope Solo with 24 each; David Arquette fell a point from last week’s score to get a 23. Tied for fifth with 21 points were Chaz Bono, for his best outing yet; Nancy Grace, who has had that same grade for three weeks running and Chynna Phillips, whose score tumbled five points from last week. But at least his mom, Cher, showed up to cheer him on — the biggest celebrity parent to show up since Sarah Palin.

Carson Kressley was alone on the bottom with 20 points.

But maybe judges’ scores aren’t the indicator they once were on “Dancing with the Stars.” Last week, Kristin Cavallari, who was tied for third place, ended up going home.
