He may have a queer eye for the straight guy, but Carson Kressley also has a pair of left feet.
And though he tried to make a case that entertainment value made up for technical precision, two weeks of low scores caught up with him Tuesday as he was the latest to be eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars”
“I’ve got to say thank you to everyone involved in ‘Dancing With the Stars,’” Kressley said after the ouster. “This has been pure joy for me and I just I hope I can make people smile and laugh and have a great time.”
He and his partner Anna Trebunskaya did a jive to “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go” by Wham! on Monday, dressed as cheerleaders for the 80s themed week.
Their resulting judges score of 19 was the lowest for the week by two points, though soccer star Hope Solo was also identified as also being in danger. Her judges’ score, though – 24 — had her tied for third.
Next week, the theme is Broadway dancing.
