Travis Wall made his name on “So You Think You Can Dance,” where he finished fourth in season two but went on to become one of the show’s top choreographers, earning Emmy nominations for his work.
Now he’s breaking out with his own reality series, “All the Right Moves” (Oxygen, 9 p.m.) which follows his effort to put together a dance company with some of his friends and fellow dancers. There are spats along the way with the rest of the company, which includes Teddy Forance, Nick Lazzarini and Kyle Robinson. But there is also time to witness some of their remarkable ensemble routines as well.
Also having right moves are the athletes of the 2012 London Olympics (NBC, 8 p.m.) where the highlights tonight are expected to be the women’s team gymnastics final and the men’s final in the 200 meter butterfly as well as diving.
They’re not going for gold, but competitors from past seasons return to try again on “HGTV Design Star All Stars” (HGTV, 9 p.m.), vying for $25,000 and a spot on an HGTV show. Actress Emily Procter of “CSI: Miami” is guest judge.
Just as there were two hours of “Hell’s Kitchen” reruns Monday, there’s two hours of “MasterChef” (Fox, 8 p.m.) tonight.
It’s the case of the murdered boy band member tonight on “Rizzoli & Isles” (TNT, 9 p.m.).
One of my favorite new summer series, “American Colony: Meet the Hutterites” (National Geographic, 10 p.m.) ends its season. Wish they could have come to press tour.
Also reaching a season finale: “Jane by Design” (ABC Family, 9 p.m.).
A possible artifact from the Civil War, not Woodstock, is examined on a more back-to-basics episode for the “History Detectives” (PBS, 8 p.m., check local listings).
The month long salute to Leslie Howard ends with ‘The Scarlet Pimpernel” (TCM, 8 p.m.), “British Agent” (TCM, 9:45 p.m.), and “49th Parallel” (TCM, 11:15 p.m.), Later, the focus turns to Joan Blondell, with “There’s Always a Woman” (TCM, 1:30 a.m.), “The Famous Ferguson Case” (TCM, 3 a.m.) and “Miss Pinkerton” (4:30 a.m.).
“Deadliest Catch” (Discovery, 9 p.m.) wound up last week, but tonight there’s a collection of moments that didn’t make it on the show this season.
For the season finale of “Workaholics” (Comedy Central, 10:30 p.m.), the guys look back to the days before they had their jobs.
The women of “Teen Mom” (MTV, 9 p.m.) face more trails, not the least of which is still being referred to as a teen though they are in their 20s.
One of the best sequels in movie history was “The Godfather Part II” (AMC, 8 p.m.).
“The War” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings), Ken Burns’ retelling of America’s entrance into World War II after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, gets a replay.
