After just two episode, “Made in Jersey” is swimming with the fishes.
The CBS legal procedural with a supposed Jersey Girl as lawyer starred Janet Montgomery, a British actress with just the slightest bump in her hair to show her N.J. roots.
Unfortunately there was no such bump in the ratings. The Friday night saga drew just 7.8 million viewers to its debut; it fell to 5.8 million in the second episode.
It will be replaced for now by reruns of “NCIS” and Hawaii Five-O” until “Undercover Boss” returns Nov. 2, bumping new episodes of “CSI: NY” to 9 p.m.).
And those who bet that another female-led produdural with a twist would have been the first to be canned this season will be watching more “Mob Doctor” instead.
