Actor Derek Jacobi examines “Richard II” and Jeremy Irons handles both “Henry IV” and Henry V” on back to back episodes of “Shakespeare Uncovered” (PBS, 9 and 10 p.m., check local listings).

They’re breaking in an intern mayor on “Portlandia” (IFC, 10 p.m.).

A brother-sister concern in Beaver, Penn., gets a visit from Gordon Ramsay and “Kitchen Nightmares” (Fox, 8 p.m.).

The countdown to the Oscars on Turner Classic Movies involves showing hundreds of nominated films over the years, studio by studio, starting with Warner Brothers works from the 30s, “Captain Blood” (8 p.m.), “I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang” (10:15 p.m.), “Four Daughters” (12:15 a.m.), “The Life of Emile Zola” (2 a.m.), “Jezebel” (4 a.m.) and “Sergeant York” (5:45 a.m.).
