The Top 10 finalists for Season 12 “American Idol,” chosen by viewers from a list twice as long contained not too many surprises.
It includes sentimental favorite Lazaro Arbos, who stutters when he talks but is smooth when he sings; gospel singers Curtis Finch Jr. and Burnell Taylor; country tinged singers Kree Harrison, Janelle Arthur and Paul Jolley; Massachusetts singer of original songs Angela Miller; the smooth Spanglish voice of Devin Velez, big voiced soul singer Candice Glover; as well as slender young soul singer Amber Holcomb.
But the next two top vote-getters, unnamed in Thursday’s results show, will get to perform a sing-off to see who will also get to be added to the summer “American Idol” tour.
So the Zoanette era may not be quite over yet.
Also among those left behind by voters? Elijah Liu, Charlie Askew, Vincent Powell, Cortez Shaw, Nick Boddington, Breanna Steer, Adriana Latonio, Tenna Torres and Aubrey Cleland.
