Michael Mayer, the Tony-winning director of “Spring Awakening,” makes his Met debut with a new version of Verdi’s “Rigoletto,” set in the 1960s Vegas on a new “Great Performances at the Met” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings).
The international cast features Polis tenor Piotr Beczala, Serian baritone Zeljko Lucic, German soprano Diana Damrau, Slovakian bass Stefan Kocan and Belarusian mezzo-soprano Oksana Volkova in her Met debut.
“Nikita” (The CW, 8 p.m.) reaches its third season finale. It’ll be back next year with a six-episode final episode.
Two new episodes of “Shark Tank” (ABC, 8 and 9 p.m.) spell the end of another season. Which has nothing to do with “Tanked” (Animal Planet, 9 p.m.).
