It’s the eve of the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington and the “I Have a Dream” speech of Martin Luther King, though you might think the anniversary is over.
True, tens of thousands marched again on Saturday, and a number of news specials have already aired. The best of them, though, premieres tonight, though (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings) has so many of the same stories as some of the other specials — with recollections that are word for word — it might seem like you’re seeing a rerun if you saw the others.
This is the one film that seems best put together, and without commercials it’s the one that should stand as the standard for the huge event in civil rights, from its planning to its effect and a few details you might not have heard yet.

“Perception” (TNT, 10 p.m.) also winds up its season with a case that’s close to home.
Female athletes are often asked to play up their sex appeal when doing commercial endorsements and the final film in ESPN’s “Nine for IX” documentaries looks into that tendency in a film titled “Branded” (ESPN, 8 p.m.).
Neighbors comete to put on the best dinner party on the special “Keep the Party Moving” (Style, 10 p.m.), which might become a series depending on how it is received.
Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III is the subject of the preseason profile “RGIII: The Will to Win” (ESPN, 7 p.m.).
