The fourth season of “Raising Hope” (Fox, 9:30 p.m.) starts,and by now Hope is practically in kindergarten. The cast of Martha Plimpton, Garret Dillahunt, Lucas neff and Cloris Leachman is still the same. But creator Greg Garcia has fled for another network and Mike Mariano has taken over as show-runner.
It’s never good luck to move a series to Friday, though, and Fox seems to be burning off episodes as they play two new ones in a row through December.
To bolster it, they’re bringing “Bones” (Fox, 8 p.m.) over from Mondays, but it can’t be good news for “Bones.”
It’s very possible that “America’s Next Top Model” (The CW, 9 p.m.) will come up with its first male winner. Two of the three finalists on the “Guys & Girls” season are men, Cory Hindorff, 22, of Philadelphia; and Marvin Cortes, 20, of New York. But first they’ll have to get past the very striking Jourdan Miller, 19, of Bend, Ore.
To mark the 70th anniversary of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s groundbreaking musical “Oklahoma!” “Great Performances” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings) replays its 2003 broadcast of Hugh Jackman in Trevor Nunn’s acclaimed Royal National Theatre production. It’s presented for the first time in high definition, however.
Scheduled guests on “Real Time with Bill Maher” (HBO, 10 p.m.) include Ezra Klein, Casey Affleck, Reihan Salam, Mattie Duppler and Radley Balko.
The challenge on “Styled to Rock” (Bravo, 8 p.m.) is to create a look for Miley Cyrus, likely involving a tongue.
The fourth season of the Southern-fried “Bachelorette” show, “Sweet Home Alabama” (CMT, 9 p.m.), begins with a new woman, Kelsey Smith, seeking a suitor from 22 candidates — half from the city and half from the country.
Racially integrated football didn’t happen in Alabama until 1970. The documentary “Against the Tide” (Showtime, 10 p.m.) reports on the shift during the Alabama game against USC that year.
The month-long Friday night screwball comedy showcase on Turner Classic Movies continues with “Theodora Goes Wild” (8 p.m.), “Twentieth Century” (9:45 p.m.), “Easy Living” (11:30 p.m.), “It’s a Wonderful World” (1:15 a.m.), “Merrily We Live” (2:45 a.m.) and “If You Could Only Cook” (4:30 a.m.).
