Looking for authenticity, Rocky Bratt left Pittsburgh for India with no plan, but found himself helping and getting close to kids at an orphanage for children with AIDS and HIV. His move confused Rocky’s old friends, which included filmmaker Steve Hoover, who took the trip to India and began to understand the pure love at work. The moving and heartbreaking “Blood Brother” makes its debut on “Independent Lens” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings) and may have a strong effect on you.
It’s great to have Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup back on the air, their voice and humor intact. But something terrible has happened to the animation in their comeback special, “The Powerpuff Girls: Dance Pantsed” (Cartoon Network, 7:30 p.m.). MoJo Jojo, the mayor and his faceless assistant are all back, but so is Ringo Starr, lending his voice on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ U.S. invasion.
“Sleepy Hollow” (Fox, 8 p.m.) ends its season with a two hour episode — or probably two one hour episodes, in which they also learn about George Washington’s death.
NBC didn’t have a panel at press tour on the Olympics, but they did have one for “Hollywood Game Night” (NBC, 8 and 9 p.m.), which returns for a second season tonight with two episodes. Jane Lynch hosts players that include Martin Short, Jason Alexander, Lester Holt, Valerie Bertinelli, Retta, Michael Chiklis, Thomas Lennon, Mario Lopez, Beth Behrs and Julie Bowen.

Harry Belafonte gets the spotlight tonight on Turner Classic Movies, with “Bright Road” (8 p.m.), “The World, the Flesh and the Devil” (9:15 p.m.), “Buck and the Preacher” (11 p.m.), “Odds Against Tomorrow” (1 a.m.) and “The Angel Levine” (3 a.m.).
