MarriedYou might be wondering what happened to the BIO channel. Well, the A&E Networks, which operates it and Lifetime and History, have changed it to the FYI, whose first new offering tonight may give an indication of where they want to go.

“Married at First Sight” (FYI, 9 p.m.) is an adaptation of a Danish show in which contestants agree to marry on sight the person chosen for them by a panel of experts who will apply scientific principles to their method — psychologists Dr. Joseph Cilona and Dr. Pepper Schwartz, as well as sexologist Dr. Logan Levkoff and spiritual Greg Epstein. Arranged marriages were never so much fun.

There is an out: Couples can call if quits if they wish after four weeks, after which they free to  join some other romantic reality competition. How do they get people for such a show? The casting special is on at 8 p.m.

Joe Bastianich, one of the judges on “MasterChef,” moonlights on a new series that doesn’t concentrate on fixing restaurants, as his colleague Gordon Ramsay does on “Kitchen Nightmares.” On the new “Restaurant Startup” (CNBC, 10 p.m.). Like “MasterChef,” he and chef Tim Love listen to pitches from hopeful restauranteurs, who get 36 hours and $75,000 to begin their dream in a pop-up eatery on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.

Not to be confused with “Get Carter!,” the new “Finding Carter” (MTV, 10 p.m.) is about a teen who only learns when she is arrested that she has been raised by the woman who stole her as a child. Meeting her biological family is a shock for Kathryn Prescott in the new series that begins with a two hour premiere.

AMC can’t get enough of “The Walking Dead.” After a three day marathon of its first four seasons and a sneak peak of the fifth on “”Talking Dead,” now comes a behind the scenes look at the show, “Inside ‘The Walking Dead'” (AMC, 10 p.m.).

“The ’90s: The Last Great Decade” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.) finally gets to the Monica Lewinsky stuff.

“History Detectives Special Investigations” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings) looks into the disappearance of Glenn Miller during World War II.

The second installment of “Time Scanners” (PBS, 8 p.m., check local listings) gives St. Paul’s Cathedral in London a laser scan.

Joe Piscopo and Barry Williams trade on “Celebrity Wife Swap” (ABC, 10 p.m.) and along the way, may well ask one another: “What ever happened to you?”

In the World Cup semifinals, it’s Brazil vs. Germany (ESPN, 4 p.m.).

Annie’s trying to get out of Venezuela on “Covert Affairs” (USA, 10 p.m.).

“Pretty Little Liars” (ABC Family, 8 p.m.) reaches its 100th episode.

Baseball today includes Dodgers at Detroit (MLB, 7 p.m.).

This month’s Tuesday night salute to Maureen O’Hara continues on Turner Classic Movies with “Dance, Girl, Dance” (8 p.m.), “They Met in Argentina” (9:45 p.m.), “Do You Love Me?” (11:15 p.m.), “Sitting Pretty” (1 a.m.) and “Our Man in Havana” (2:30 a.m.).
