June’s big four-day festival in Nashville is turned into a three hour special on the annual “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock” (ABC, 8 p.m.), with performances from Jason ALdean, Miranda Lambert, Faith Hill, Hunter Hayes, Dierks Bentley, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, the Band Perry Florida Georgia Line, Zac Brown Band, Keith Urban, Darius Rucker and Carrie Underwood. The host is Little Big Town.
Football camp has started and now, so has the annual series looking into one of them. “Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Atlanta Falcons” (HBO, 10 p.m.) takes place in the heat of camp in Flowery Branch, Fla.
On the premiere of “Celebrity Legacies” (Reelz, 10 p.m.) deals with the late actor James Gandolfini.
“Nick News with Linda Ellerbee” (Nickelodeon, 8 p.m.) looks at the lives of deaf kids.
