It’s a low budget contest: Winners get cash totaling four times what they pay at the market; losers have to foot their own bill.

Elsewhere in reality competition, why should it only be contestants on “The Bachelor” who get to travel the world? Tonight, Tim Gunn takes the remaining designers to Rome on “Project Runway” (Lifetime, 9 p.m.).

The victim’s family is interrogated and briefly detained on a new “Gracepoint” (Fox, 9 p.m.), still hewing pretty closely to the original British “Broadchurch.”

The young couple does the usual online background investigations of each other on “A to Z” (NBC, 9:30 p.m.).

Fitz is in trouble again on “Scandal” (ABC, 9 p.m.).

Meredith digs through her mother’s old stuff on “Grey’s Anatomy” (ABC, 8 p.m.).

The death of a video game designer is investigated on “Bones” (Fox, 8 p.m.).

A new network series based on it has been stalled by action from John Candy’s estate, so you’ll just have to enjoy the original “Uncle Buck” (IFC, 9 p.m.).

It’s Jets at Giants (NBC, 8:25 p.m.) in Thursday Night Football.

The last remaining divisional series reaches game five with St. Louis at San Francisco (Fox Sports 1, 8 p.m.), battling to see who will face Kansas City in the World Series.

More ghost stories are on Turner Classic Movies tonight, with “The Ghost Breakers” (8 p.m.), “The Old Dark House” (9:30 p.m.), “The Smiling Ghost” (11:15 p.m.), “The Ghost Goes West” (12:45 a.m.), “Ghost Chasers” (2:15 a.m.), “Spook Busters” (3:30 a.m.) and “Gildersleeve’s Ghost” (4:45 a.m.). And elsewhere, there is “Ghostbusters” (AMC, 8 p.m.) and “Mostly Ghostly: Have You Met” (Disney, 8 p.m.).
