The new “Miles from Tomorrowland” (Disney Junior, 9 a.m.) takes the idea from the theme park sector and voices from Olivia Munn, Mark Hamil, Bill Nye and George Takei as well as the omnipresent cartoon voice of Tom Kenny. The story of a nuclear family being raised on a space ship may also be part of the early marketing for the Disney “Tomorrowland” movie coming this summer.
Morgan Freeman talks about his history with “The Taming of the Shrew” on “Shakespeare Uncovered” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings) with Julia Stiles and Tracey Ullman while, in a second hour, David Harewood talks about the racial issues of “Othello.”
Mercedes returns to McKinley high trying to extract Rachel on an episode of “Glee” (Fox, 9 p.m.) that includes its 700th performance.
Johann Hari, Janet Mock, Amy Holmes, John McCormack and Marianne Williamson are guests on a new “Real Time with Bill Maher” (HBO, 10 p.m.).
Organic lipsticks are pitched on a new “Shark Tank” (ABC, 9 p.m.).

The year 1939 was so rich in film excellence you can scarcely fit them all in on a night of Oscar winners and contenders. That’s also because one of them is the epic “Gone with the Wind” (TCM, 10 p.m.). So we also get “Wuthering Heights” (TCM, 8 p.m.), “The Man in the Iron Mask” (TCM, 2 a.m.) and “Pride and Prejudice” (TCM, 4 a.m.).
