CarlinTonight’s “Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) is about as old a rerun as they could give you — a replay of the first show from October 1975 (which means the show’s 40th anniversary should rightfully be celebrated this fall; not tomorrow night). George Carlin gave a long monologue and then returned and did another monologue, the killer bees were there, and there were two musical guests, Billy Preston and Janis Ian. Also, Andy Kaufman did his pantomime to “Mighty Mouse.” The 10 p.m. “SNL” special is a compilation of Valentine’s Day skits.

Do you think there’s not going to be an original cable romantic movie on Valentine’s Day?
