The new show arises from her deadpan, pun-heavy, celebrity-centric internet ramblings that have earned 1 million viewers. Her cable show comes on right after “The Soup” (E!, 10 p.m.).

Billy Porter, the highly entertaining star of “Kinky Boots” musical presents a lively one man show “Live from Lincoln Center” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings).

A new reality show follows the struggles of the old boy band with “Backstreet Boys: Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of” (VH1, 9 p.m.). But “Meet the Smiths” (TBS, 9 p.m.), unfortunately, is not about that band. Instead it’s about the family of sports analyst Kenny Smith and “Price is Right” model Gwendolyn Osborne.

Just as he ended “The Office,” “Extras” and “Life’s Two Short” 4after two seasons and a special, here’s a new, hour-long, stand-alone episode of Ricky Gervais’ unusual character “Derek” (Netflix, streaming) to wrap that series.

“The Amazing Race” (CBS, 8 p.m.) tastes a bit of Oktoberfest while in Bavaria.

Compared to Christmas or even Halloween, Easter has a dearth of animated specials about it. There is, at least, the 1971 “Here Comes Peter Cottontail” (The CW, 8 p.m.), a Rankin-Bass production using the voices of Danny Kaye, Casey Kasem and Vincent Price.

Last weekend’s popular movie “Killing Jesus” (Fox News, 8 p.m.) gets a fitting replay on Good Friday.

MGM special effects whiz A. Arnold “Buddy” Gillespie is saluted on Fridays all month on Turner Classic Movies with a 16 film salute that begins with “The Wizard of Oz” (8 p.m.), “San Francisco” (10 p.m.), “Tarzan and his Mates” (12:15 a.m.) and “Mutiny on the Bounty” (2:15 a.m.).

The comedy “21 Jump Street” (Fox, 8 p.m.) gets a prime time showcase.

“Real Time with Bill Maher” (HBO, 10 p.m.) repeats last week’s episode with Mike Huckabee, Barney Frank, S.E. Cupp and Zachary Quinto. The “Vice Special Report: Killing Cancer” (HBO, 11 p.m.), is also a repeat as well, but fits in well after this week’s PBS documentary series on the disease.

“Mad Men” doesn’t return until Sunday. But there is “Mad Max” (Encore, 8 p.m.).

NBA action includes Oklahoma City at Memphis (ESPN, 8 p.m.) and Portland at Lakers (ESPN, 10:30 p.m.).

Spring baseball has Tampa Bay at Detroit (MLB, 1 p.m.), Atlanta at Baltimore (MLB, 6 p.m.) and Cubs at Arizona (MLB, 9:30 p.m.).
