significant-mother-01It’s one mom in and another mom out as Krista Allen stars in the new sitcom “Significant Mother” (The CW, 9:30 p.m.) about a restauranteur played by Josh Zuckerman who is rattled when his mother starts dating his best friend, played by Nathaniel Buzolic.

Ending its season, meanwhile, is “Odd Mom Out” (Bravo, 10 p.m.), the weird Upper East Side comedy, in which creator Jill Kargman has to choose between a 40th birthday party and an 80s prom themed bash.

An innovative program in a California prison system that prizes rehabilitation over hard time is examined on the documentary “Toe Tag Parole: To Live and Die on Yard A” (HBO, 9 p.m.).

In another strong documentary on tonight, a community in the war-ravaged Sudan relies on music and dance to keep the culture and spirits up in Harjool Kuka’s “Beats of the Antonov” making its debut on “POV” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings).

With “The Bachelorette” having finished its season last week, “Bachelor in Paradise” (ABC, 8 p.m.) continues its premiere, which began Sunday, followed by its own weekly after show, “Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise” (ABC, 9 p.m.).

The sharp scripted show that commented on such a show, “UnReal” (Lifetime, 10 p.m.) has its first season finale.

Ed Helms follows his latest film “Vacation” and goes off the cliffs on “Running Wild with Bear Grylls” (NBC, 10 p.m.).

The unaccountably popular “American Ninja Warrior” (NBC, 8 p.m.) has its two-hour episodes repeated twice each week in prime time. Tonight they’re on the Orlando finals course.

The Top 16 perform on “So You Think You Can Dance” (Fox, 8 p.m.), while a couple of others also go home.

“The Making of the Mob: New York” (AMC, 10 p.m.) winds up its Gambino and Genovese family stories that began with Lucky Luciano to end the first season. A second season next year will focus on the midwest-based mob.

Andrew Zimmern travels to Warsaw to eat packzi, zapiekanka and other foods that include the letter z on “Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations” (Travel, 9 p.m.).

Lego-inspired confections are the task on “Cake Wars” (Food Network, 8 p.m.).

Chandra Wilson directs the episode of “The Fosters” (ABC Family, 8 p.m.).

April prepares for her wedding on “Chasing Life” (ABC Family, 9 p.m.).

A “best-of” episode of “Top Gear” (BBC America, 9 p.m.) includes clips from the past.

A second season starts for the soccer analysis show “The Men in Blazers Show” (NBC Sports Network, 11 p.m.).
