ChasingHeroinDeaths from heroin and prescription opioid overdoses have nearly quadrupling in 15 years. Perhaps because it’s invaded white suburbs, it’s become a huge issue and warranted a two-hour episode of “Frontline” (PBS, 9 p.m.) that begins at an earlier hour.

The report, “Chasing Heroin,” tells addiction stories but also looks at new ways to fight it, at a time when the epidemic is being considered more of a health crisis than a crime, and fueled by big pharmaceutical companies widely distributing drugs like Oxycontin, which is called “heroin prep school.”

A ∫ (CNN, 8 p.m.) in South Carolina features Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, in separate sessions, taking questions from voters, with Chris Cuomo moderating. It happens the same night as the results of the Republican that will get wall to wall coverage.

The third season of “NASA’s Unexplained Files” (Science, 10 p.m.) with the unusual transmissions Apollo astronauts heard on the far side of the moon (Trump?).
