OfKingsThe bunny candy and Paas egg coloring kits are in the stores, Palm Sunday is 12 days away and ABC, which has had such success with the annual showing of “The Ten Commandments” brings its own quasi-Biblical story in the story of King Saul and Samuel and David and Goliath.

“Of Kings and Prophets” (ABC, 10 p.m.) looks like a lesser “Game of Thrones” but better than “Exodus: Gods and Kings” (HBO, 6:30 p.m.), with some interesting performances from Ray Winstone as Saul and Mohammad Bakri as Samuel. But Olly Rix’s David has some pretty blindingly white teeth for being out in the desert. Maybe that’s how he blinded Goliath.

Ellen DeGeneres has always gotten a kick out of talented kids, so now she’s built a whole showcase for them “Little Big Shots” (NBC, 10 p.m.), hosted by Steve Harvey, who will do his own Art Linkletter thing interviewing the kids. The preview (for a show that settles into a Sunday time slot this weekend) comes after two more hours of blind auditions on “The Voice” (NBC, 8 p.m.).

Today’s Presidential Primary Results (CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, 8 p.m.) start to roll in about 8 p.m. from Mississippi. The polls are open until 9 p.m. in today’s biggest race, Michigan. Idaho Republican primary voting ends at 11 p.m. and the Republican primary in Hawaii won’t be done until 1 a.m.

In “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” (FX, 10 p.m.), Marcia Clark getting a perm is presented as something as shocking as finding a bloody glove.

The natural spin-off to the long running “Intervention” is going after those who enable such behavior. Hence, “Intervention: Codependent” (Lifetime Movie Network, 10 p.m.), led by Kristina Wandzilak.

Good to see Iliza Schlesinger back on TV, this time as host on a new quiz show called “Separation Anxiety” (TBS, 10 p.m.), in which one half of the couples think they’re competing for way less money than they are.

In the 100th episode of “New Girl” (Fox, 8 p.m.), Jess finally returns from jury duty.

A new season starts for “Christly Knows Best” (USA, 10 p.m.).

The ancestors of Mia Farrow and Dustin Hoffman (co stars of the 1969 movie “John and Mary”) are examined in the third season finale of “Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates Jr.” (PBS, 8 p.m., check local listings).

Robert Osborne picks the flicks tonight on Turner Classic Movies. His choices: “Frenchman’s Creek” (8 p.m.), “My Cousin Rachel” (10 p.m.), “Who Done It?” (midnight), “The Ritz” (1:30 a.m.) and the original French “La Cage Aux Folles” (3:15 a.m.).

Men’s college tournament action includes North Carolina State vs. Wake Forest (ESPN2, noon) and Florida State vs. Boston College (ESPN2, 2 p.m.) in the first round of the ACC tournament;  Fairleigh Dickinson at Wagner (ESPN2, 7 p.m.) in the Northeast Conference championship game; Green Bay at Wright State (ESPN, 7 p.m.) in the Horizon League championship; Gonzaga at Saint Mary’s (ESPN, 9 p.m.) in the West Coast conference championship and North Dakota at South Dakota State (ESPN2, 9 p.m.) in the Summit League championship.
