pee-wees-big-holidayNearly 30 years since his last film, Paul Reubens most popular character is back with the new “Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday” (Netflix, streaming) in which the ageless character stars with Tara Buck and Joe Manganiello on a cross country adventure.

Reuben co-wrote it with Paul Rust, the guy behind the recent Netflix comedy “Love” (in which Rust also stars). As with that series, Judd Apatow co-produces, though Pee-Wee’s isn’t expected to be adult. But it will have some appeal to longtime fans, including involvement by Gary Panter and Mark Mothersbaugh.

Also on that online service, the well-received superhero adaptation “Marvel’s Daredevil” (Netflix, streaming) drops another 13 episode season, starring Charlie Cox as the hero versus Jon Bernthal’s Punisher.

Finally, “Jimmy Carr Funny Business” (Netflix, streaming) is a new standup special from London.

On cable, the documentary “Steve McQueen: The Man & Le Mans” (Showtime, 8 p.m.) chronicles the making of the 1971 film”Le Mans.”

Later, the former “Jackass” star tries his own stand-up special, “Steve-O: Guilty as Charged” (Showtime, 10 p.m.).

The “Animals” (HBO, 11:30 p.m.) on tonight’s animated episode are technically flies.

The series “Million Dollar Genius” (History, 10 p.m.) sounds like it will cater to people who like “Shark Tank” (ABC, 9 p.m.).

Reba McEntire guest stars on “Last Man Standing” (ABC, 8 p.m.).

“Grimm” (NBC, 9 p.m.) marks its 101st episode.

“Yukon Men” (Discovery, 10 p.m.) pick up the pieces after a fire.
