Broadcast networks are clearing the decks in anticipation of next week’s up-fronts, when they announce rosters of new shows they hope will do a little better.
Until then, the damage is piling up for shows that have been around a while that some people kind of liked — ABC’s “Nashville” or “Castle” — to new ones that people sort of assumed had a chance — Fox’s “The Grinder” and “Grandfathered.”
Here’s the list so far of what got the axe. If you don’t recognize the show names, it demonstrates how little impact they made on viewers’ minds.
And one show — “Supergirl” — got canceled on CBS only to re-emerge on its sister station that is home to more superhero fare, The CW.
NBC: “Mysteries of Laura,” “Undateable,” “Crowded,” “Truth Be Told,” “Heartbeat,” “Game of Silence,” “Telenovela,” “Truth Be Told,” “The Player,” “Heroes Reborn,” “You, Me and the Apocalypse.”

The CW: “Containment.”
