A rare Friday night “Big Brother” (CBS, 8 p.m.) is reserved for the competition among the five evicted houseguests so far to compete against one another so that one of them can gain entry back into the house. Downside: it may result in the return of megalomaniac Jozea. Others in the fight: Tiffany, Bronte, Victor and Glenn — eliminated in the first episode.
The circus in Cleveland has left town. Now it’s time to put attention on another, with nearly as extreme costumes: “Live from Comic-Con” (Syfy, 8 p.m.) with Will Arnett, whose own animated “BoJack Horseman” (Netflix, streaming) is back with its third season today.
Also back online is the second season of the latest iteration of the Canadian high school classic “Degrassi: Next Class” (Netflix, streaming).

The most far flung of the franchise, “The Real Housewives of Melbourne” (Bravo, 9 p.m.), originating from Australia not Florida, returns for its third season.
Odd to have “Real Time with Bill Maher” (HBO, 10 p.m.) staging its third live show in as many days, but I guess that’s how his nightly “Politically Incorrect” used to work. HIs guests tonight include America Ferrera, Ian Bremmer, Ana marie Cox, Jack Kingston and Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn.
Jermaine Dupri is back with a new season of “The Rap Game” (Lifetime, 10 p.m.) in which hopefuls compete for the opportunity to with him on So So Def records. Helping out are Snoop Dogg, Timbaland and Da Brat.
The evil is growing in town on “Outcast” (Cinemax, 10 p.m.), just like Donald Trump said.
The Dancing Dolls are back for new competition, too, in “Bring It!” (Lifetime, 9 p.m.), which has a countdown preshow at 8.
Students are going missing at the gifted school on “Killjoys” (Syfy, 9 p.m.).
The month long 100th anniversary Friday night salute to Olivia DeHavilland continues with “My Cousin Rachel” (8 p.m.), “The Proud Rebel” (9:45 p.m.), “The Ambassador’s Daughter” (11:45 p.m.), “Hold Back the Dawn” (1:45 a.m.) and “The Strawberry Blonde” (4 a.m.).
It’s U.S. vs. Costa Rica (ESPN, 9 p.m.) in a women’s international soccer friendly.
In international basketball, it’s U.S. vs. Argentina (NBA, 9 p.m.).
