Starship_EnterpriseThe 50th anniversary of “Star Trek” brings some urgency to a couple of restoration efforts to two of its props in the special “Building Star Trek” (Smithsonian, 8 p.m.). One is Captain Kirk’s command chair from the bridge; the other is the 11 foot model of the Enterprise used in the opening credits. It’s a restoration effort I even wrote about for Smithsonian Magazine last year.

“Murder in the First” (TNT, 10 p.m.) closes its third season by closing one of its longest-running cases.

Get an early glimpse at what’s coming in the “ABC Fall Preview” (ABC, 7 p.m.).

Tyler Lesley stars as an undefeated boxer preparing for his biggest bout in “Ringside” (TV One, 7 p.m.), a made for TV movie written and directed by radio host Russ Parr. Allen Maldonado, Raney Branch, Tequan Richmond, Jackie Long, Sevyn Streeter, Charlemagne Tha God round out the cast.

Angela must have known her relationship with Ghost would raise eyebrows on “Power” (Starz, 9 p.m.).

Travis and Chris search for shelter on “Fear the Walking Dead” (AMC, 9 p.m.).

Seems as though “BrainDead” (CBS, 10 p.m.) should be winding up.

Rob and Blac Chyna fight on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” (E!, 9 p.m.).

The actress Jeanne Crain is featured in a double feature on Turner Classic Movies with “People Will Talk” (8 p.m.) and “Home in Indiana” (10 p.m.). Later comes Marion Davies in King Vidor’s “Show People” (midnight) and Buster Keaton in “Character Studies” (TCM, 1:30 a.m.), followed by Dino Risi’s “Il Sorpasso” (TCM, 2 a.m.) and Jim Jarmusch’s “Stranger Than Paradise” (TCM, 4 a.m.).

Sunday Night Baseball has Washington at Mets (ESPN, 8 p.m.). Earlier, it’s San Francisco at Cubs (TBS, 2 p.m.).

College football today includes Alcorn State at Bethune-Cookman (ESPN, 1 p.m.), Texas Southern at Prairie View A&M (ESPNU, 6 p.m.) and Notre Dame at Texas (ABC, 7:30 p.m.).

The Round of 16 begins at the U.S. Open (ESPN2, 11 a.m.).
