new-edition-bet-mini-series-thatgrapejuiceThe group behind “Candy Girl” and “Cool It Now” is probably worth a bio movie. But a miniseries? “The New Edition Story” (BET, 9 p.m.) stretches the story of Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky and Mike — and Ralph — into a three-night miniseries. The second season of “Outsiders” (WGN America, 9 p.m.), the series about a clan on a Kentucky mountain that has little patience for the rest of the world,  roars in.

A second season also starts for “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” (The CW, 9 p.m.), now in a new time slot.

But it’s the 11th season of “Face Off” (Syfy, 9 p.m.) that begins tonight.
