It seems weird to people that a guy in Omaha would make a lot of money, elect to stay there anyway, and have opinions like he should pay more income taxes than his secretary (at a time when the self-proclaimed billionaire in the White House says he’s smart for not paying income tax). Hence, a documentary about the guy by Peter Kunhardt, “Becoming Warren Buffett” (HBO, 10 p.m.).
Another documentary meant for uplift is on “POV” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings), about the Strathcarron Hospice in Denny, Scotland, that is big on song and comedy in a film called “Seven Songs for a Long Life.”
Kim Cattrall, Toby Jones and Andrea Riseborough populate a new film of “Agatha Christie’s The Witness for the Prosecution” (Acorn, streaming).
“Fashion Police” (E!, 9 p.m.) looks at the styles worn at Sunday’s Screen Actors Guild Awards. But a news station should review the eloquent political speech it prompted.
Justina Machado guest stars on “Jane the Virgin” (The CW, 9 p.m.).
“Lucifer” (Fox, 9 p.m.) goes to hell.
“The Bachelor” (ABC, 8 p.m.) takes his harem to New Orleans. The only thing that makes the show slightly less loathsome this season is that it plays opposite “Celebrity Apprentice” (NBC, 8 p.m.).
“The Odd Couple” (CBS, 9 p.m.) ends its third season with a pair of episodes.
With two episodes a week, it looks like “The Young Pope” (HBO, 9 p.m.) to wrap up as soon as possible as well.
The contestants on “America’s Next Top Model” (MTV< 10 p.m.) go to a party at designer Philipp Plein’s estate.
“Booze Traveler” (Travel, 10 p.m.) goes to Israel.
Owen gives a lesson on betrayal on “Quantico” (ABC, 10 p.m.).
“Timeless” (NBC, 10 p.m.) goes back to the 1980s — Culture Club’s era — in an episode called “Karma Chameleon.”

Turner Classic Movies presents a half dozen movies celebrating the old Las Vegas with “Meet Me in Las Vegas” (8 p.m.), “The Las Vegas Story” (10 p.m.), “Viva las Vegas” (11:45 p.m.), “Oceans Eleven” (1:15 a.m.), “Crashing Las Vegas” (3;30 a.m.) and the musical “Painting the Clouds with Sunshine” (4:45 a.m.).
