BigLittleLies_HBOThe preponderance of movie stars in the limited series “Big Little Lies” (HBO, 9 p.m.) has alone kept it worth watching despite its numerous lapses — from little kids being addicted to 50 year old music to a murder mystery with (so far) no victim, let alone a culprit. And then there are the escalating plotlines that makes everyone hateful enough to kill or be killed. The culminating benefit event in tonight’s finale involves men dressing like Elvis and women dressing like Audrey Hepburn (and everybody sings Elvis but no one sings from, say, “My Fair Lady”). The climax is both expected and has a twist. And one clear victim I can announce: The music of Elvis Presley.
