episodes_501_0774-rThe funny “Episodes” (Showtime, 10 p.m.) is back for its fifth and final season and it finds Matt Le Blanc a hit on a game show called “The Box.” Meanwhile, Tasmin Greig and Stephen Mangan’s long suffering writing team of Sean and Beverly are forced to work on another terrible show.by the network head (Andrea Savage).

The fourth season of “Endeavour,” about the early days of the venerable Inspector Morse, begins on “Masterpiece” (PBS, 9 p.m.), with the time frame picking up two weeks after the third season. It takes place a half century ago, in the summer of  1967, when a serial killer strikes.

Also returning is “The Last Ship” (TNT, 10 p.m.), for its fourth season. They’ve got a two hour premiere picking up 16 months after the last season. And it’s a surprise its world hasn’t ended altogether yet.

The Andrew Dice Clay comedy, “Dice” (Showtime, 10:30 p.m.) is also back for its second season, with a “It’s a Wonderful Life” premise suggested by his Rabbi.

The fourth season starts for the premium cable basketball comedy “Survivor’s Remorse” (Starz, 10 p.m.).

And it’s the second season for the reality series “WAGS Miami” (E!, 10 p.m.).

The new “Caribbean Pirate Treasure” (Travel, 10 and 10:30 p.m.) sounds like a bad Disney movie, but the  new shows looks for some maps and pirate booty.

Issa tries to build a roster at a work retreat on “Insecure” (HBO, 10:45 p.m.), 15 minutes late this week.

Not sure what the demand was for this: “Reunion Road Trip: Return to Jersey Shore” (E!, 9:30 p.m.) in which Snooki, JWoww, Pauly D, Sammi and the Situation get together and chew the fat. It kinds of make you respect Ronnie for leaving it all behind.

Unfortunately it’s hard for specials like “The New Age of Terror” (History, 9 p.m.) to stay up to date. This one includes Paris and Brussels, but not Barcelona.

“Ray Donovan” (Showtime, 9 p.m.) cleans up after Natalie shoots her husband.

After his last deal went bad, Ghost gets a little more ruthless on “Power” (Starz, 9 p.m.).

Jon Snow starts battling in the North on “Game of Thrones” (HBO, 9 p.m.).

This week there’s a six word clue to “Twin Peaks: The Return” (Showtime, 8 p.m.) this week: “There’s some fear in letting go.”

A Wookie drives a car on “Top Secret America” (BBC America, 8 p.m.).

Violence grows on “Teen Wolf” (MTV, 8 p.m.).

Here’s a third episode of “Big Brother” CBS, 8 p.m.) in four days.

Abby’s girls start going back to school on “Chesapeake Shores” (Hallmark, 9 p.m.).

“The Great Food Truck Race” (Food, 9 p.m.) begins its with season in New Orleans.

“Steve Harvey’s Funderdome” (ABC, 9 p.m.) is much more like a game show than I thought.

“The 100,000 Pyramid” (ABC, 10 p.m.) has Richard Kind vs. Rachel Dratch and Margaret Cho vs. Michael Rapaport.

Turner Classic Movies salutes one of the biggest movie stars today with Cary Grant all day, and his films “Penny Serenade” (6 a.m.), “In Name Only” (8:15 a.m.), “None but the Lonely Heart” (10 a.m.), “Mr. Lucky” (noon), “Suspicion” (2 p.m.), “I Was a Male War Bride” (4 p.m.), “The Philadelphia Story” (6 p.m.), “Holiday” (8 p.m.), “An Affair to Remember” (9:45 p..), “The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer” (midnight), “People Will Talk” (2 a.m.) and “Walk, Don’t Run” (4 a.m.). What, no “North by Northwest”?

The P&G Women’s Gymnastics Championships (NBC, 7 p.m.) from Anaheim gets a two hour prime time network showcase.

Preseason football includes Atlanta at Pittsburgh (NFL, 4 p.m.) and New Orleans at Chargers (NFL, 8 p.m.).

Baseball includes Yankees at Boston (TBS, 1:30 p.m.) and St. Louis at Pittsburgh (ESPN, 7 p.m)>

WNBA action includes Minnesota at New York (NBA, 3 .m.) and Washington at Indiana (NBA, 4 p.m.).

Little League games include British Columbia vs. Maracaibo, Venezuela (ESPN2, 10 a.m.) in an International double elimination game, Fairfield, Conn., vs. Lufkin, Tex. (ESPN, 11 a.m.) in a U.S. double-elimination game, a Junior League World Series finale (ESPN2, noon), Seoul vs. Tokyo (ABC, 1 p.m.) in an international double elimination game of Greenfield, N.C. vs. Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif. (ESPN, 2 p.m.) in a U.S. doubt elimination game.
