“Katie’s New Face: A Family’s Journey” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.) follows the case of a young face transplant recipient.

Preseason football has Kansas City at Chicago (NFL, 1 p.m.), Tennessee at Pittsburgh (NFL, 4 p.m.), Baltimore at Miami (ABC, 7 p.m.) and New Orleans at Los Angeles (CBS, 8 p.m.).

“Four Weddings” (TLC, 9 p.m.) presents four ceremonies in Florida.

“Ghost Adventures” (Travel, 9 p.m.) goes to Porterville, Calif.

One of the “Most Haunted Towns” (Travel, 10 p.m.) is Fall River, Mass.

On the new “Planet Earth: Mission Galapagos” (BBC America, 9 p.m.) a research vehicle explores the Galapagos.

“The Vanilla Ice Project” (DIY, 10 p.m.) focuses on the kitchen in the house he’s working on in Palm Beach, Fla.

“Father Figures” (HBO, 8 p.m.) with Owen Wilson, makes its premium cable debut, as does last year’s “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” (Starz, 8 p.m.).

A woman reels about news of her children on “Iyanla: Fix My Life” (OWN, 9 p.m.).

Success has sunk a company on “Mind Your Business with Mahisha” (OWN, 10 p.m.).

Jeffrey Dahmer is the focus on “Murder Made Me Famous” (Reelz, 9 p.m.).

“Yosemite Park Killer” (Reelz, 10 p.m.) isn’t about forest fires, but a series of murders in 1999.
