“Full Frontal with Samantha Bee” (TBS, 10:30 p.m.) goes all in for a holiday special they’re titling “Christmas on I.C.E.” Besides the reference to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and their bad year (and a gingerbread Wall), there will also be some credible stabs at classic specials like “Christmas at Pee Wee’s Playhouse,” the 1963 “Judy Garland Christmas Special” and the Jim Carrey version of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” here called “The Binch.” Proceeds from the commercial-free half hour will go to KIND’s Family Separation Response Team.
Three hours are set aside for the finale of “Survivor” (CBS, 8 p.m.). The David vs. Goliath season ended up with four Goliaths and two Davids at its end, with the deserving mastermind, Christian, sent home last week. Shall we root for the underdog Davids, Nick and Davie? Or how about the reigning women of Goliath, Kara Angelina and Alison? Is it too much to ask that actor, writer and previous “Amazing Race” contestant Mike White find his way to win? It will be interesting to find out.
