A second season starts for the revamped “Lost in Space” (Netflix, streaming).
In the imported Mexican comedy film, “Como cad del cielo” (Netflix, streaming), Omar Chaparro plays the spirit of a Mexican singing star who takes over the body of one of his modern impersonators as a way to come back to life.
On the made for TV “Baby in a Manger” (UPtv, 7 p.m.), a social worker finds a baby abandoned in a church Nativity scene.
In the imported series “Crash Landing on You” (Netflix, streaming), a South Korean heiress accidentally paraglide into North Korea.

Not much new on TV tonight, but a lot of reruns including some holiday ones, with “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” (ABC, 8 p.m.), “It’s a Wonderful Life” (NBC, 8 p.m.), “A Christmas Story Live!” (Fox, 8 p.m.), the forgettable attempt presented in 2017, with Matthew Broderick, Maya Rudolph, Chris Diamantopoulos and Jane Krakowski. Of course you could always watch the original film of “A Christmas Story” (TBS, 8 and 10 p.m., midnight, 2 and 4 a.m.) which begins its twelve time, 24 hour loop tonight. You can see it starting on odd hours on TNT for 24 hours, with showings at 9 and 11 p.m.; 1, 3 and 5 a.m. and so forth.
Sundance, by contrast, only has seven consecutive showings of “White Christmas” (Sundance, 8, 10:45 a.m. 1:30, 4:15, 7 and 9:45 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.).
There is also “Christmas at Belmont 2019” (PBS, 8 p.m. and midnight, check local listings), a holiday edition of “Masters of Illusion” (CW, 8 p.m.), hosted by Dean Cain, “Christmas with the Tabernacle Choir featuring Kristin Chenoweth” (PBS, 9 p.m. check local listings), “Greatest Holiday Commercials Countdown 2019” (CW, 9 p.m.) and “CMA Country Christmas” (ABC, 9 p.m.).
Plus the usual “Elf” (AMC, 7 p.m.) and “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” (AMC, 9 p.m.),
It’s the most unusual night of the year for late night talk shows, a few of which are replaced by things like “The Marvel of the Night: Christmas at Duke University Chapel” (CBS, 11:35 p.m.)
