“Real Time with Bill Maher” (HBO, 10 p.m.) is back in the studio for the first time since March, but without a studio audience. His (virtual) guests are Trey Gowdy, Wynton Marsalis, Rick Wilson and Nina Burleigh. 

Season four of “Savage Kingdom” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.) comes to an end in Botswana. 

It’s opening night in Vegas on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” (VH1, 8 p.m.).
