A successful city woman returning to her small hometown to face a former rival with whom she finds romance is the plot of just about every made-for-TV holiday movie, including tonight’s new one, “Inn Love by Christmas” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.) with Jonna Walsh, Jesse Hutch and Jayne Eastwood. 

The 12th season of the series “Craft in America” (PBS, 9 and 10 p.m.) begins with two episodes. 

“MacGyver” (CBS, 8 p.m.) looks to find a biological weapon before it’s sold to terrorists.

A plane Higgins is trying to repossess is being used by a drug cartel on “Magnum P.I.” (CBS, 9 p.m.).

“Shark Tank” (ABC, 8 p.m.) hears about a healthy dessert idea.

They’re still trying to create miniatures on “Biggest Little Christmas Showdown” (HGTV, 9 p.m.). 

On “Blue Bloods” (CBS, 10 p.m.), Erin is anxious to hear the Governor’s choice for new district attorney. 

Michael J. Fox, Stephen Fry and Dolly Parton are on a new episode of “The Graham Norton Show” (BBC America, 11 p.m.). 

One of the last surviving stars of old Hollywood, Marsha Hunt, who survived blacklisting, became an activist, and is alive today at 103, is celebrated on Turner Classic Movies all day with her films “Bride by Mistake” (6 a.m.), “Smash Up, the Story of a Woman” (7:30 a.m.), “Flight Command” (9:30 a.m.), “The Human Comedy” (11:30 a.m.), “The Valley of Decision” (1:45 p.m.), “Bombers B-52” (3:45 p.m.) and “Pride and Prejudice” (5:45 p.m.) before a 2015 documentary on her life, “Marsha Hunt’s Sweet Adversity” (8 p.m.).

It’s followed by other films about filmmaking, “Going Attractions: The Definitive Story of the Movie Palace” (10 p.m.), “What She Said: The Art of Pauline Kael” (11:30 p.m.) and “For the Love of Movies: The Story of American Film Criticism” (1:15 a.m.). Then comes two 1971 films about addiction, “Dusty and Sweets McGee” (2:45 a.m.) and “The Panic in Needle Park” (4:30 a.m.).

NBA begins some preseason games with Houston at Chicago (NBA, 8 p.m.) and Sacramento at Portland (ESPN, 10:30 p.m.).
